It seems like forever ago that our last 7" release came out - but we’re back - and what a way to come back!!! The Aardvarks are modern Mod legends - easily ranking ‘up there’ alongside ‘The Clique’ ‘The Jaybirds’ and ‘The Apemen’. Formed in the late 80's the Aardvarks have seen themselves on numerous compilations (with a scene-stealing show on our very own ‘Takin’ A Detour’ comp), a couple of singles on Germany’s ‘Screaming Apple’ label and a very successful LP on the ‘Delirium’ label. They have headlined Mod rallies all over Europe and now they come to the home of all things Mod - Detour Records. This release gives you two tracks in the classic ‘Aardvarks’ style - true 60's Psyche/Garage/Beat - a must for any discerning Mod!! It’s a pleasure to have this fine bunch of chaps on our label at last!!
