If we had a pound for every time a customer phoned up and asked "have you got any Makin’ Time on CD?" we’d be millionaires by now (and we wouldn’t have to phone a friend). Well, we dug around and got our hands on these live tapes that were originally released in the mid 80's on the ‘Re-Elect The President’ label (a forerunner of Acid Jazz) and thought that we would put them out to stop the endless phone calls. So what you have here is a phenomenal release by one of the 80's most celebrated Mod bands (who featured a pre ‘Charlatans’ Martin Blunt in their line up!) Featuring 10 tracks that showcase this band’s immense power and soul - captured live in front of a capacity crowd at the famous ‘100 Club’ in London. With new and totally different artwork to the original release that features some totally unreleased photographs and new liner notes by Mark McGounden, this is shaping up to be one hell of a release. Not forgetting out loyal ‘vinyl’ fanbase we are releasing this title on both formats to give everyone a chance of once more hearing these classic songs.
