Formed in 1978 in the Bristol area, The Letters were part of the burgeoning Power-Pop scene of the time - all skinny ties, sharp suit and even sharper songs! Picked up by the ‘Hearbeat’ label (who went on to become the great Punk label ‘Riot City’) the band released one classic single - the phenomenal ‘Nobody Loves Me’ - that now fetches over £200.00 on the collectors market. Soon after releasing the single the band split - leaving the legacy of one classic 7" - until now, that is....

We tracked the band down, and although they told us that they had no unreleased material they did offer to get their arses back in the studio and record some new tracks and rework some of their old tracks. We agreed to this, and when we heard the album we were blown away! 20 odd years from when the band first released ‘Nobody Loves Me’ they’re back - with a real focussed sound - great Pop melodies played with a real Power and precision. Features an awesome re-recording of the classic ‘Nobody Loves Me’ alongside 12 other brilliant tracks. Crossing the boundaries between Mod and Power-Pop this great collection of songs deserve your attention!!!!
