NEW OUT ON THE PAISLEY ARCHIVE LABEL.... This is one of those releases which can only happen on a label belonging to the Detour Records Distribution Group... The Five Faces, one of the original Mod Revival period bands from Italy, were originally active from 1980 to 1984, initially with this name and later as SX225 (name borrowed from the Killermeters’ flip side). They regrouped (with 3/4th of the original Line Up) in January 2014 and immediately started regular live activity, blending songs from the old set list, new songs and selected covers. This Live album is the ideal compendium of their first year of activity. Their aggressive Mod Revival sound is very likely to please the ears of fans of Purple Hearts, The Jolt, Long Tall Shorty and The Chords. Great recording of a Five Faces gig!

This record perfectly captures the energy and the intensity of a typical Five Faces' gig. In it you can find their talent as well as their profound love and respect for the Mod music and era.
Five stars for the whole record with a personal note for "This World" and the cover of "Something to Say" of The Action.
A Not-To-Be-Missed CD, awaiting for their next release!

I first heard the Five Faces version of making Time on Glory Boys radio and was very impressed with their energy and sound. This is a very highly recommended live album, it gets 4 stars as I would reserve 5 stars for that once in a lifetime album!

Absolutely brilliant cd by this top italian mod band,the five faces are a new band to me and i absolutely love these guys.lets have another release soon guys.you can only get better.if you buy one cd this year,let it be the five faces,just brilliant music from four great italian lads,recommended listening.
