Paisley Archive are proud to announce, the release of the new MadFish single and accompanying video 'Do You Want To Be Like Me?'
Written by lead singer Gregor Wilson when he was 19, this song was originally played but never recorded by his old band The Head, known infamously for their 1980 collectable 7" double A sided single 'Nothing To Do In A Town Like Leatherhead'/'University '79'.
This is the second single taken off MadFish's much anticipated new double album '1979', due for release in November 2016. Produced and remixed especially for this single release by Dr. Crippen, previously of Tenpole Tudor, King Kurt and now of The Weird Things and recorded at Panther Studios in Surrey.
'Do You Want To Be Like Me?' never ceases to thrill, with it's Who, Pistols inspired intro, the song smashes into overdrive with no hint of pop sensibility. It has a middle eight that is so catchy, it will defy you to get it out of your head and have you singing along in no time. Good job it comes back at the end in all it's infectious glory!
