Parade are getting ready for the release of their long awaited new album with a fantastic brand new single, available now – ‘Tomorrows People’.
Originally written 22 years ago, ‘Tomorrows People’ shows off the distinctive Parade sound and makes you think that they never went away. Believe us, it’s been worth waiting for.
Lead Vocalist and Songwriter Danny Gray explains: “It is about my life at that time. My late teens and early twenties still living with my parents, between dead end jobs and bumming around in the fallout of Thatchers Britain. England was in the toilet but I was full of ambition and waiting for a change to come. There was an undercurrent of excitement. I could feel it, we could feel it. Music, art and culture was changing and I had something to say..."
This effortless slice of power pop, perfection in three and half minutes, demonstrates the power of Parade, their energetic performances and the strength of their songwriting.
Backed with ‘Tomorrow I’ll be gone’, a Motown-inspired stomper. Tomorrows People is available to download from Detour's Paisley Archive records and all the usual outlets.
