YET "ANOTHER" MUST HAVE RELEASE ON OUR OFF-SHOOT LABEL ....."ONLY FIT FOR THE BIN" LABEL. "Only Fit For The Bin are proud to be releasing another long lost Punk gem that never got the recognition that they deserved at the time. Starting life at the tail end of Punk in 1979, the band started off with one foot in the spirit of Punk but soon developed their own unique sound, greatly inspired by The Beatles, The Clash, Joy Division etc. They were formed out of boredom and dreams, like a million other bands. Started by Northampton schoolmates Mark Refoy and Nick Meeks, they employed the services of another schoolfriend, Carlo Marocco, to be their drummer. Marocco later built his own recording studio, one of his early clients being Spacemen 3. After their debut gig at Hackleton Memorial Hall their drummer was replaced by John Lucibello, who played drums for local Northampton punk legends The Russians. Nick Meeks was subsequently replaced on bass by Steve Harshaw, another figure on the Northampton punk scene. After a couple of years playing in Northampton pubs and clubs and several London shows the band, also like a million others, fizzled out and everybody went their separate ways, most notably Mark Refoy who went on to play guitar in Spacemen 3, Spiritualized and Pet Shop Boys." <<< LIMITED PRESS OF ONLY 200 COPIES >>> FEATURES Lazy Day Temporary Feeling Ward 23 All This Waiting Saxamony Distraction Falling In Action Over My Head Password / Indoor Tan Under The Knife John Clare Borrow Over My Head (Live)
