ABOUT  GOODBYE  VICTORY  ROAD

Described by some as a mod opera, Goodbye Victory Road has been reworked, having had a fair bit of new guitar and vocals added and some remixes that really bring the songs up to scratch. Also 2 great new songs added; “Kung Fu Fights” (this one aint actually about kung fu…. Or skinheads !) and album closer “Somewhere”.

This 23 song album is set in the late 70’s, in a working class dockside estate and is about Billy (an amateur boxer) and his disruptive mate Pip who gets given a hooky guitar. They're both there in '78 in a "true" story about young creative kids who are heading for a fall.

Recorded in Medway by a group of mod, indie and garage punk musicians (performing under the name of Goodbye Victory Road) that come from bands such as The Loop, The Bresslaws, The Regents, The Dying Breed, The Deccas, Superminx'70 and British Litter.

Goodbye Victory Road is possibly a unique release in today’s throw away culture so don’t be surprised if it (and the rest of Billy’s story) get re-packaged and then put out again by a bigger label.

This album deserves to do big things

so everyone within the scene please get behind it.
